I started a refinance application with my current lender, Wells Fargo, on XX/XX/XXXX. I paid my appraisal fee the day I applied per my mortgage consultant. I expressed concern to the fha specialist who told me I may not pass for a loan because of repairs. I contacted my consultant about this concern and was told that it would be fine as long as I could live in my house as I already do. I was further informed the appraisal would be my only out of pocket expense when I expressed concern if I needed another appraisal or inspection. I had a closing date of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. No one called me proceeding these dates and just allowed them to pass by. The appraiser did not come until XX/XX/XXXX. I received my appraisal a couple weeks ago. I was told that I now need a foundation inspection. I said I didnt want to go through with that. X my consultant told me that he would notify underwriting my foundation is free from crack, bulging, or decay. Next thing I know, I check my task list and it shows the the inspection fee added to my loan estimate. All these issues are in addition to the reps continually asking me for a XXXX w-2 for an employer I didnt work, resubmitting documents that everyone has at hand, and blatant miscommunication among them. The consultant has also went as far as telling me he was telling the fha specialists manager that he shouldnt have given me information about possible approval for repairs. Im now out {$860.00} for an appraisal that I was told shouldnt affect my approval since I already occupy my home. Ive been lied to, then hit with sneaky surprise charges. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The phone line is always open and answered. They have the right number. Tired of the games.
