On XX/XX/2023 I complained to the CFPB about my experience of a fraudulent account XXXX that XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting to Equifax and XXXX. I have filled out an FTC report regarding my issue with XXXX XXXX XXXX in the previous CFPB complaint XXXX. The data furnisher stated that the investigation has been completed with the results stating First payment was never received. I was not contacted upon this investigation of the fraudulent account with XXXX XXXX XXXX.How does the data furnisher complete the investigation without contacting the consumer to get an accurate statement? Also, how can I make a payment to an account that was applied and used fraudulently? Once again my FTC report is attached to this complaint and a screenshot of the results sent to Equifax of data furnishers statement.
