On XX/XX/2023 I received XXXX Derogatory marks from a collection agency named National Credit Systems. The first one, in the amount of {$450.00} from a creditor named as an apartment complex in XXXX XXXX Texas named XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The second, In the amount of {$6300.00} from a creditor named as XXXX XXXX. also and apartment complex in XXXX XXXX. I did not sign any lease with either of them. I live in XXXX as a home owner. I believe my identity had been stolen and I was a victim of identity Fraud. My credit has been frozen on all Bureaus since XX/XX/2023. So these apartment complexes definitely did not do their job of properly verifying my credit. I Have contacted National Credit Systems. a person named XXXX XXXX has been in charge of this case that has an internal reference number : XXXX XXXX XXXX has requested me twice to send the same documentation package that their identity fraud team requested. I have sent all documents requested by Mail and E-mail as they requested. Since XX/XX/2023, I can only see the second charge of {$6300.00} on my account. I believe National credit systems removed the first charge. But they failed to remove the second. XXXX XXXX XXXX is unaware of the documents I sent, it seems that their department do not communicate internally, so he can't answer why one charge was removed but not the second. when I asked what should I do about this, he forwarded the same first e-mail with the same requirements. Which was frustrating. Since this communication isn't going anywhere, I decided to contact CFPB to weight on the resolution of this matter. I am a Real Estate Investor and can not afford to have these kinds of issue on my credit. it is crucial that this gets removed from my account ASAP. I am attaching the same documents that the debt collector requested for your revision. including the police report file in XXXX, water bills and home insurance policy to prove my place of residency on the time the events happened and signed affidavits. Please help.
