I have had a line of credit with Grain since XX/XX/XXXX as reported on my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I attempted to login to the app and I received the following message : " Our system reviewed the identification details you provided and are unable to confirm your identity, as such were unable to onboard you at this time. Our inability to onboard you was not based in whole or in part on information obtained in a report from a consumer reporting agency and no credit score from a consumer reporting agency was obtained and used in making our decision. A consumer reporting agency played no part in our decision and is unable to supply specific reasons why we have denied to onboard you. Our inability to verify your identity was based in whole or in part on information obtained from an outside source other than a consumer reporting agency, which was not acting in the capacity of a consumer reporting agency. Notice : The Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, XXXX, marital status, age ( provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract ) ; because all or part of the applicant 's income derives from any public assistance program ; or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.
