I've been the victim of identity theft. My likeness has been used to open bank accounts loans, credit cards, and apartment leases. Consequently, I've filed a police report and identity theft report and the accounts are currently involved in litigation. I have not supplied proof under the doctrine of estoppel by silence, Engelhardt v. Gravers ( mo ) 281 SW 715,719, I presume that no proof of the alleged debt, nor therefore any such debt, in fact therefore exists.
