For some reason today I received a debt collection call from Santander Consumer USA. This was an automatic robo call. Santander, has no reason to be contacting me. Currently, I don't have an account balance with them, and I'm not in collections. Back in 2018, I filed a case against them in XXXX. That account was closed and settled. i have attached the file. After that account was closed, there is no reason for Santander to have my contact number ( XXXX ) XXXX on their records to contact me. First of all, that is a business line, and again I have no outstanding accounts with them. I called the number back and selected the option for them to remove from their system. I don't have any accounts with anyone in collections. So, this company should not be contacting me, and they should not be attempting to collect anything from me, on a closed matter which that was settled.
