On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by phone by Wakefield & Associates about a supposed outstanding medical debt. The problems are, I hadn't had any medical treatments in the year for which they were attempting to collect, I have full health coverage ( so I would owe nothing if I HAD had any treatment ), and I check my credit frequently and have seen no outstanding debts. They also called my wife but I had told her about the scam so she ended the call quickly. I believe the business is fraudulently attempting to collect non-existent debts, and there are many XXXX reviews stating the same.
