I recently pulled my credit report and saw a discrepancy on these accounts. I see the months are not all the same and I am worried that these accounts have errors that is effecting my FICO score and my ability to get a house for my family and I. Even after disputing with the CRA 's, I feel and see that my rights are being violated under the FCRA and FDCPA. I disputed the validity and accuracy of these accounts previously. However, errors and discrepancies continue to be reported onto my credit report. Why are these dates inaccurate with zero proof being presented? Also, I have disputed these inaccuracies and NO NOTICE OF DISPUTE has ever been reported or noted on my credit report which is also a violation of the FCRA. As per 15 USC 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ( a ) Reinvestigations of disputed information ( 1 ) Reinvestigation required ( A ) In general if the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in aconsumersfileat aconsumer reporting agencyis disputed by theconsumerand theconsumernotifies the agency directly, or indirectly through areseller, of such dispute, the agency shall, free of charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate andrecordthe current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from thefilein accordance with paragraph ( 5 ), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from theconsumerorreseller. as per FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) ( 3 ) Duty to provide notice of dispute.
