The company is First Point Collection Resources , Inc located in XXXX NC. Had debt from an XXXX XXXX visit to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX NC. Made payments to the hospital but was sent to collections. Received notice from the above referenced company and filed a Dispute. In the dispute we requested several items to include : 1. A detailed Invoice 2. Paperwork indicating who would be responsible for debt 3. Confirmation that XXXX XXXX XXXX is in compliance with Transparency Laws ( ie. Cost of services was not disclosed prior to services being rendered. Received nothing but a vague copy of an invoice that referred to several items that were not detailed as well a letter that said XXXX XXXX XXXX verified the debt was appropriate. The letter was from XXXX XXXX, Manager of XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. While on a phone conversation with the company they threatened to damage my credit by reporting to credit bureaus. I feel as though I am responsible for a portion of the debt but that the Hospital failed to be transparent and the collections agency has done little to confirm the debt and work out payment options, nothing but threats.
