Consumer Narrative

I tried to send a letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX for a validation of debt. I used the address that XXXX has provided to all three credit reporting agencies and the letter was returned back to me for " unable to deliver - vacant '' - I then sent Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX a letter with a copy of the envelope to remove this debt for violating FCRA Sections 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( AR and ( a ) ( 1 ) ( CR. PLEASE know it states the following : The responsibility of the data furnisher is outlined in the FCRA, section 623. In part, it states : The FCRA prohibits information furnishers from providing information to a consumer reporting agency ( CRA ) that they know ( or consciously avoid knowing ) is inaccurate. However, the furnisher is not subject to this general prohibition if it clearly and conspicuously specifies an address to which consumers may write to notify the furnisher that certain information is inaccurate. Sections 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( AR and ( a ) ( 1 ) ( CR All three credit reporting agencies have still not removed this account. Ive attached the copy of the letter to each CRA, the envelope showing the return, the copy of the credit report showing the address that ecmc reported to the credit reporting agencies.
