received Vanilla gift card for XXXX $ for birthday.Tried to use one time at XXXX but came up '' invailad card '' so I called company on XX/XX/XXXX after unsuccessfully trying to activate online.I was told card was used XXXX minutes before (! } at some " floral shop '' but couldnt tell me what state.I think this occurred when I had tried to activate it online.Customer service said to call back on XX/XX/XXXX to see if the purchase went thru, either way she was putting a hold on the card-it was difficult to understand her XXXX accent -to investigate, I assume.So Im screwed no matter what.Checking online, I see this is common and part of the scam.
