Hello, in XX/XX/XXXX we filed the following complaint with the CFPB. " While shredding some old files, I found a Capital One brokerage account that my mother and I jointly held. We are not sure if the account was liquidated or transferred to another brokerage firm ( as Capital One no longer services brokerage accounts ). I am looking for more information on this account ( its status- was it transferred, or previously a {$0.00} balance at the time Capital One ceased servicing it )? '' We would like the case reopened. We're attaching a file from Capital One with the account details to help Capital One locate the account.
