Consumer Narrative
In XXXX of XXXX I filed an identity theft report with the FTC and the three major credit bureaus in reference to Account : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1300.00}. I sent a letter to each bureau describing the identity theft and including the FTC report ( and have also done so AGAIN this week in XXXX of XXXX XXXX ..At that point ( XX/XX/2023 ) the fraudulent account was from XXXX XXXX XXXX ITSELF.. now that same organization has KNOWINGLY submitted a collections account on an account that has been identified as fraudulent AND the credit bureaus have placed the collection on my credit file causing my credit score to drop again causing detriment to my financial wellbeing ( which is in direct violation of the fair credit reporting act! ). If the original account from XXXX was deleted and marked as fraudulent the fact that three bureaus KNOWINGLY placed a collection on my credit file for the SAME fraudulent account is breaking consumer laws. All three agencies continue to remove items then add back the fraudulent collection items for the same accounts which are completely INACCURATE debts which then drops my score significantly each time they have done this ( now three times ) AND which has an extreme adverse reaction and is detrimental to my financial wellbeing. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The list of accounts below has violated my federal protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 168XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. All three bureaus ( XXXX, TRANSUNION and XXXX ) stated everything was complete and removed the original creditor. But now they have allowed a collection account from that same fraudulent loan appear on my credit file.. the open date, date of last activity and much more is incorrect and completely untrue and fraudulent. And each time they add and remove this account it affects my score DRASTICALLY ( now two times ) which is causing serious hardship and affecting my livelihood AND financial wellbeing. According to 15 USC 1681i ( 5 ) they are supposed to modify accounts that arent reporting correctly 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. states I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 U.S.C 1681c. ( a ) ( 5 ) section states : no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information any other adverse items of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. 15 U.S.C 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. DELETE ALL ACCOUNTS LISTED ABOVE from each of the credit reporting agencies ( XXXX, TransUnion and XXXX )
