I leased a mercedes benz back on XX/XX/2023. The car was deemed a lemon by the dealership 4 days later. The dealership advised me that they will reach out to their corporate HQ for resolution and made my car payments until they had an answer. XXXX XXXX XXXX is an insurance company for mercedes paid off the vehicle today and gave me a refund of my down payment of XXXX. They advised me that Mercedes Financial services also sent them a check of XXXX for the vehicle. Mercedes benz Collection unit has this information in their system however they want me to send them either the payoff of XXXX or XXXX to bring the account up to date. They see in their system that a payoff check was sent by their own company. However they warned me that they will report me negative to the Credit card reporting agency. I asked for a supervisor. However they advised no one was available.
