Equifax told me that the bankruptcy information that they are reporting on my credit file was provided to them by the court house but that isnt true, I called the courthouse and they told me that they do not provide any bankruptcy information to any of the credit bureaus, now for some reason, equifax keeps telling me that they have been able to verify this bankruptcy, if that is true then I would like the name of the person that they spoke to at the courthouse and also the phone number of the same person, I would also like equifax to provide me with any information that they have from the court house, proving that they provided this bankruptcy information to them. I received a letter from the courthouse that tells me equifax is lying when they tell me that they have verified the bankruptcy. Equifax does not need to verify my identity because I have provided them with the last 4 numbers of my social security number, my home address and my date of birth, also I am providing them with a copy of my identification, and a copy of my social security card, I know that this company uses these type of tactics to never remove what is inaccurate on a credit report because they get paid for it and it is illegal that equifax provided my personal information including this public record to my current employer, by law they cant do that, I have never given them authorization to provide anyone with my personal information. This company does these type of illegal things and it makes me wonder about what else it is that they do with peoples personal information.
