XX/XX/2023 the Executive Director of XXXX, XXXX, a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit corporation received a call from XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. See Exhibit 1 This telephone number belongs to G. L. A. Collection Company, Incorporated, ( henceforth G.L.A. ). See Exhibit 2, Respondent G.L.A.s Contact Us website ( https : //glacompany.com/contact-us/ ). The caller identified themselves as a debt collector and divulged the amount of debt they sought to collect. See Exhibit 3 G. L. A. had been sent a dispute of this debt from the undersigned law firm XX/XX/2023. See Exhibit 4. G. L. A. is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692b 804 subsection ( 2 ). Respondent G.L.A. clearly identified themselves as a debt collector in violation of the Act and disclosed both the existence and the amount of this purported debt. FURTHERMORE, G. L. A. violated subsection ( 6 ) of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692b 804 in that Respondent had been in communication with the undersigned ( Exhibit 4 ), knew that the undersigned was represented by counsel and nonetheless chose to look up the partner of the undersigned and call them, at work.
