I have called Equifax and asked them to explain why my mortgage company can not pull my Equifax report. They told me there is a fraud alert on my account because my name is fraudulent and I have not received any information via mail, email, notifying me of any activity. The second representative told me that my account has been listed as fraud but will not give me information about the alleged fraud nor will they tell me how to fix it. Im am so tired of getting the runaround about this. Prior agent never mention a fraud, he said that there was a lock in the account and after verifying the information he said it was removed. So I tried again today to log in online and still o am receiving the same issue. I have a right as a consumer to know what is being done and by whom and to simply tell me I will not have access to my own Equifax due to fraud yeah no, going all the way to the top on this one.
