I had two credit cards with the company named XXXX. One was a secured card with a credit limit of XXXX XXXX, and the other one was an unsecured card with a credit limit of XXXXXXXX XXXX. Due to some personal situation, I had to quit my job. While waiting for some funds to be deposited into my bank account within 60 days from my resignation date, I was not able to make my payments on time. But as soon as I received the funds I made full payment on both of the credit cards. One of the XXXX representatives lied to me by saying that my account was still open and that as soon as the payment got reflected on both of my accounts I was going to have my credit available. Later I realized that was not true because both accounts were closed by the company ( XXXX ). The problem I am having is that even though I made my payment in full for both accounts more than 30 days ago the company XXXX is still reporting wrong information to the credit bureau when both of my credit cards have been paid in full and as I said, both credit cards account have been closed by XXXX. This bad reporting is affecting my credit report, my XXXX XXXX has dropped XXXX points because of this bad report from XXXX. My last payment to satisfy the unsecured credit card account in full, payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX for {$12.00}. But previous to this date I made another payment on the unsecured credit card for the amount of {$950.00} on XX/XX/2023. Also on XX/XX/2023, I made a payment of {$190.00} to satisfy the secured card account in full. I do not understand why the XXXX company is continuing to report accounts that have been paid in full by me ( the former account owner ) and closed by the credit card company " XXXX ''. Please help. I have been working so hard to pay all my debts and to improve my credit score for things like this to happen. I made these payments using my XXXX Checking or Saving Account.
