I had a medical incident back in XXXX and only a portion of the bill was taken care of which I had been unaware of for 2 years and was sent to XXXX XXXX unknowingly. The {$1200.00} bill plus interest was finally paid early XXXX XXXX XXXX and I was reassured multiple times by employees at Experian that due to this unpaid bill not being my responsibility and the responsibility of my past employers insurance, my credit score would increase about the same amount that it went down. I also filed a few disputes regarding my credit score yet nothing was changed as they reported everything to be accurate. Its been 2 years now and I have been giving the benefit of the doubt but now I realize I was lied to and my credit score will not be going up after I was assured via phone call that it would. I should have never been sent to collections, I sent ALL documentation to workers compensation like I was supposed to yet Im the one that gets penalized for someone elses mistake.
