I recently filed a complaint with BBB regarding a account that is not legally mine. Included in the documents sent by Credence they state the account was under contract in a different legal name that I have never had nor used. My legal name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. They have this account legally belonging to XXXX XXXX. I have sent a verification letter certified to this Collection Agency, and they sent back verification with a bill. They can not provide adequate proof of this account legally belonging to me. This is against my rights as a consumer. I am attaching the documents as proof of this false account being reported on my consumer report with all the credit reporting agencies.
