I recently got preapproved for a new VA mortgage because I am shopping for a house. The day after, I have received phone calls after phone calls from supposed lenders. Some identifying themselves as working with the VA, or with XXXX. Some of the caller have been outright hostile, one even commenting that he had my social and date of birth all ready when I asked to be removed from the call list. When I tried to contact the three credit reporting agencies that must of sold my information without my permission I can not get anyone on the phone. But rather get bumped from automated message to automated message. If the credit agencies are in fact giving my Personal Protected Information out without my permission to unsolicited lenders I am extremely concerned.
