According to my credit report dated XX/XX/23, Self Financial Inc. has continued to leave negative marks on my credit report for an account that was originally current for over a year with no missed payments that i later closed as a an account that was current with no Miss payment more than a year. This conduct is in violation of the FDCPA, which prohibits debt collectors from using any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt ( 1692e ), and from designing, compiling, and furnishing any form knowing that such form would be used to create the false belief in a consumer that a person other than the creditor of such consumer is participating in the collection of or in an attempt to collect a debt such consumer allegedly owes such creditor, when in fact such person is not so participating ( 1692j ).
