On Friday XX/XX/XXXX I received an email, I am attaching it to this complaint. In the email there was an amount stated that I owed {$91.00}. When I called to inquire abut the debt. The person I spoke with first told be that {$91.00} was the total owed. When I started inquiring about the breakdown of the bill I was then told that they have my dispute on file from XXXX for one amount. Then told me that the other amount they could not talk to me about it because I needed to talk to the medical office. Which brings up two issues- if they can not talk to me about this debt, and it's not yet in their office why are they trying to collect? Second for the amount outstanding since XXXX THIS is in dispute. This company is refusing to follow the Fair Debt Collection Act by complying with my repeated requests to provide proof of the debt. I have been told " we can't provide that ''. I have and still maintain that this is not my debt. My complaint is two fold : First, back in XXXX I disputed the first debt. By this company 's own admiisson they have my dispute, yet they have for XXXX years refused to provide any proof of me owing this debt. I assert now, like I asserted then that this is not my debt. Second, the new debt- I acknowledge that I was seen, but this is a workman comp bill and according to XXXX XXXX this bill was never even submitted to them to be paid. Further when I called to speak with someone I was yelled at and then she hung up the phone after stating that they don't even have the debt in their office. If the debt is not in their office, why are they fradulently trying to collect? When I called immediatly back, no one would answer my calls. I aslo left several vocie messages and no one returned the call.
