I have made multiple disputes to have a bankruptcy file from XXXX removed from my credit report. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Experian XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX have reported this information : U.S. BANKRUPTCY COURT XXXX XXXX CASE ID # XXXX Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX IN XXXX Phone : XXXX Type : :XXXX XXXX BANKRUPTCY XXXX Date Updated : XX/XX/XXXX Date Filed : XX/XX/XXXX Court Type : US Bankruptcy Court Date Updated : XX/XX/XXXX Date Paid : XX/XX/XXXX These credit bureaus/reporting agencies are privately owned companies and have collected and posted my data without my knowledge or permission. I have reached out to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court about this issue and they responded as such, " the court does not provide any information directly to third-party information gatherers. " ( See attachment documentation ) I supplied this information to the reporting agencies and they still refuse to remove this information. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 1681 ( a ) ( 5 ), any case, civil or otherwise dismissed, no longer exists in the eyes of the law, and therefore the credit reporting agencies have no right to maintain this information which the government has deemed non-existent on my report. It is only causing harm to my person to obtain employment and better housing by lowering my credit score
