This company purchased the debt from another debt collector who purchased it from XXXX in XXXX .... The company held onto the debt with out any notification until XX/XX/XXXX and then tells me I owe them interest ..... This is a scam. They should have provided immediate notification of buying the debt and pursuing charges. Instead they banked up and insane amount of interest and wait until the last 50 days before their final collection debt to attempt to collect it. I called the company and the Spanish lady was very arrogant and lippy. I explained the debt had been settled and they still advocating that I owe. She proceeded to over talk and use profanity in XXXX and hang up on me nearly 7 times when I called back trying to resolve this matter. Finally I got some English speaking guy explained it all and he is sending me some of the documentation. I feel a complaint needs to be longstanding against this company for the corrupt practice of harboring the debt allowing the interest to cascade and their license to operate in the state of Idaho revoked.
