Company never sent notice about debt. I just kept receiving calls from an unknown number without them leaving a voicemail -- it seemed scammy. I didn't realize who they were until it was reported on my credit report. I finally settled out with the company and I have a recording of the representative stating they would do a pay to delete. They pretended they weren't able to send me a pay to delete letter until I got off the call and the letter they finally sent did not state what was promised over the phone which was a pay to delete. Also after I settle out with them the address they reported on my credit file was not even correct which led me to believe they never had official verification that the debt even belonged to me.
