Consumer Narrative

For 5 years I have been disputing two accounts on my credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In 2018 I had a payment arrangement for a creditor set to draft their payment out of my bank account. I set up this payment arrangement with the intention of having the funds available on the day of the draft. Due to medical issues that made me unable to work I had to withdraw the funds to pay only our necessities which left my account empty by the time the creditor tried to draft the payment from my account. Since I knew I did not have overdraft protection on my account I assumed the transaction would just fail and me and the creditor would just work out another payment plan. Unfortunately, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX decided to do a " one time courtesy pay '' to the creditor on my behalf without my knowledge or consent. This caused my account to go into the negative and forced me to switch my direct deposit to another bank because I could not afford for them to take all that money back when I was paid the following month. I have gone into the bank, called the corporate office, disputed the charges and I still can not have this charge removed from my credit report even after they could not provide me with any documentation showing that i was aware the bank could make one time payments even if you dont have overdraft protection ( which i did not have overdraft protection ). They also could not provide my signed consent to this process. XXXX XXXX may have assumed they were doing me a favor with this action but i have been living with the impact on my finances and credit report for 5 years now. Not only did they make this unauthorized payment on my behalf but instead of this being one account on my credit report they have split the balance of the payment and reported 2 accounts. One with a balance of {$410.00} and a second with a balance of {$64.00}. I was sure when I explained this to the credit bureaus they would find that XXXX XXXX had no authorization from me allow this transaction to go through and remove the two negative accounts but every dispute comes back in favor of XXXX XXXX. I am asking one final time for proof that shows my knowledge and consent to this " courtesy payment '' practice from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. If they can not provide proof I would like the 2 accounts removed from all of my credit reports and a payment for the amount on both accounts for the 5 years of damage to my credit due to their unauthorized assistance.
