Consumer Narrative

To whom it may concern, I recently sent via certified mail a number of items on my credit report that I believe is being reported incorrectly. I sent this certified mail to Experian Credit Bureau from my local post office on XX/XX/2023 at approximately XXXX XXXX CST. On XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXXXXXX XXXX I received an email stating that my dispute had been completed and asked to view my results for the new and updated file # XXXX. While I did research thoroughly I was fully prepared to wait the 30 to 45 days for the results to come in via MAIL. Why? In my letter I did asked them to validate the accounts in which I wanted disputed, but I also asked that they send me their procedures used to validate the said debt. While I am sure they used the E-Oscar tool to complete this because on all items I challenged it said out to the side the following - 1. ) Information on this item has been updated. Please review your report for the details. or 2. ) The information you disputed has been verified as accurate ; however, information unrelated to your dispute has been updated. Please review your report for the details. This brings me to the following questions to you CFPB. 1. ) How can they investigate this properly in 3 days? 2. ) Why did they not send me and supply me with their means on validating the said debt? 3. ) If they did indeed contact anyone of the said creditors why would they update with correct information if it was reporting incorrectly previously? I thought if there were errors then they should be deleted according to the FCRA? I would like an explanation of these questions I have listed above in a timely manner, as this is not only affecting my credit profile but also my ability to gain employment. The rules cant apply for some and not everyone. As it relates to Experian, I do not need the canned message that you guys typically send following a complaint with the CFPB as you never follow up as it says and Im certain your hoping I will just go away! I am also sending this to the FCRA and will seek general council as well.
