My student loans were serviced by great lakes on behalf of us dept of edu. They closed the accounts due to transferred them to another loan servicing company XXXX. The closing of the loans reported to the credit bureaus equifax and XXXX due to transfer which dropped my credit score drastically. Months later the loans were re-added to my credit reports with these bureaus and my score then dropped drastically again so it now looks like ive just opened this new debt with student loans and it is hindering me from obtaining new credit ie : a new apartment because it makes me look irresponsible which I believe is unethical.
