I have enrolled in XXXX in XX/XX/2023, a nonprofit debt counseling program, to help me restructure my credit card debt, as I have fallen on hard times. I was trying to avoid XXXX XXXX bankruptcy. XXXX sends a monthly payment to this creditor, who accepts it, but keeps charging me late fees and over limit fees. They have also reported my account as delinquent with the XXXX reporting bureaus. XXXX has been trying to work with the creditor to remove the default from my credit reports, to reduce the interest rates, and to accept a lower monthly payment, so I can avoid filing for XXXX XXXX. Instead this creditor is trying to hold my hostage, but charging late fees/overlimit fees/sky high interest rates and strong arming be my reporting I am default/late payments/ when I enrolled in XXXX when there were no late payments or default on my account.
