I recently tried to open an account with Truist Bank. I was informed that there was an account opened in XXXX and fraud committed in XXXX. I have never opened an account with them previously. I've done everything they've asked of me. They said they were sending me a fraud packet to complete. I gave them my correct address and they have refused to send it to my correct address. They sending the packet to the address they have on file. They refuse to tell me the address they have on file. They can't tell me the branch or the location that the account was opened. They gave me the number to a guy named XXXX claiming he was my investigator that I had to speak with him to Gert the paperwork sent to the correct address but that man never answered the phone or returned any of my calls or messages. I've been fighting identity theft since XXXX when XXXX XXXX opened an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX and got a home phone to her house in my name. My sister XXXX XXXX has ruined my XXXX XXXX account stealing and disputing transactions. Truist has refused to let me know anything. The only people that could be responsible for this is XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX.
