Consumer Narrative

My wife and I have been separated for a few years. During our separation she opened up credit cards using my name and social security number without my knowledge or consent. She passed away and I am now discovering these credit cards. I do not have the money to pay these cards and they are not mine to pay. I have called and notified these credit card companies and after a very short investigation they are stating that I opened up these cards.
