My ex-wife opened a case in NY because NY law states that a father can pay child support until a child is XXXX, so the court put a temporary judgment against me until a hearing. My divorce decree was upheld and the case was dismissed. I have given backup documentation to all XXXX credit bureaus and it remains on my credit reports. They have not taken it off my reports.
