Consumer Narrative

I have a Bank Ozk checking account. Per my understanding, Overdraft Protection is an opt in feature. During account opening, I said no to Overdraft Protection. Yet, the bank opted me in Bounce Proof and informed me by letter mail. Bounce Proof seems to be Overdraft Protection but with a different name. I visited the bank and asked a personal banker to remove the Bounce Proof feature. He suggested I keep the feature, and after a few mins, I insisted on removing the feature from my account. I believe I should not need to opt out of a feature by either calling customer service or visit a branch just because Bank Ozk signed me up for it automatically.
