i have a loan with Harley financial davidson. i fell past due on loan due to loosing my income momentarily which caused me to fall back on my loan as well as all my utilities and mortgage. i have advised this to them several times. i continue to make payments and trying to get my account current. every time they call which is multiple times a day non stop, i call back and try to speak with a rep they always use threats to try to get me to pay. i advise them when i can make an arrangement and they always advise me they cant accept any arrangement. they make threats and tell me if there is a repossession agent out side of my house and or to surrender my collateral. they tell me i have repo fee 's of over XXXX, which is not true i have worked in collections for over XXXXyears and have never resulted to using threats to get a customer to make a payment. repo fee 's average from XXXX {$1000.00} plus whatever the account is past due /and storage fee 's at time of reinstatement. they never offer options and or a payment plan to assist in getting current, off the bat when you speak with them its a threat ( we have repo agent on the way to the house or is there a repo agent present ). a company this size should do better in speaking with the customer 's and find out what the reason for delinquency is and offer options to assist a customer get back on track and get the loan performing once again. threatning a customer does not make them pay. its coming to an agreement. these types of threatning collections need to stop immediatley. this is no way to collect a debt from a consumer. its about rectifying the problem and offering assistance. i had a previous loan with them and paid on time with no issues. but me loosing my income momentarily really caused me to fall behind on all my bills. i am well aware of my past due and i will do my best to get caught up so i dont have to deal with reps that use threats to collect a debt.
