I signed up for an XXXX account ( online fitness service ) with a XXXX email address. That account was canceled in XX/XX/XXXX. I subsequently created a new account from my work email, which was canceled on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX refunded me the amount, which is reflected on my capital one card. I then received an email that the service that I had signed up for ( on demand access ) was being discontinued on XXXX XXXX, and would no longer be offered effective XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX charged my credit card for the service that was discontinued ( their on demand access ). I immediately emailed them to request for the charge to be reversed as I no longer had an active account with them, and they were no longer offering the services anyways. When they refused, I filed a dispute with CapitalOne, which they promptly rejected. I then resubmitted the information XXXX and spent multiple hours on the phone with them, only to be advised that this actually fell under their fraud department 's scope. I filed a case with their fraud department, which they rejected within hours. I've sought the advice of an attorney who recommended that I reach out to you, as this evidence I shared with him unequivocally demonstrated that the charge was fraudulent. Attached you will find my cancellation for the original account. My cancellation for the second account, as well as the discontinuation notice for the service. I've also included the fraudulent charge, as well as my request for it to be reversed. I've also included the credit card statement that shows the refund in XXXX. Finally, attached are all the dispute responses from CapitalOne.
