Received an alert from XXXX XXXX XXXX of a new inquiry in my credit report. Simultaneously received XXXX alert and an alert from the issuing company to verify my email address. Called the issuing company and notified them of the fraudulent transaction as I have never used XXXX XXXX XXXX in the past several years and I do not have any account with them currently. Also called XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and spoke to the Transunion rep and notified them of the same. They also asked me to lodge a police report and/or FTC report for this. The official police report was lodged with XXXX Police Department and is given the number : XXXX by officer XXXX XXXX badge XXXX. I am now also filing this report with FTC via consumer finance.gov.
