My house burnt down on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX issued a check in the amount of XXXX to me and PHH Mortgage. I endorsed this check and forwarded it on to PHH Mortgage via certified mail on XX/XX/XXXX. It wasn't until XX/XX/XXXX that PHH fed ex me an authorization to utilize property insurance claim proceeds to pay my loan in full ( form3 ). I signed the form and fed ex it back the same day. The payoff was XXXX leaving an excess of XXXX which I should have received by now. XX/XX/XXXX I have called PHH several times speaking to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and others. None of them seemed to know anything. I have tried to check into my PHH account online, however I receive a response " loan paid in full. '' Where is my money? I am trying to purchase a new home and need the funds.
