Hello, I was recently contacted by Midland Credit Management about a past due debt charged off by XXXX XXXX. Upon reviewing the alleged debt, I am certain this debt is not mine. I have called XXXX and requested documentation dating back until XX/XX/2020 ( when the credit card was apparently first opened ). They were unhelpful and told me they no longer had these documents. I told them under federal law banks are required to keep records for at least five years. After being transferred to the supervisor, he dismissed what I had to say and hung up on me.
