Please provide proof of an inquiry to my credit as well as proof of the rejected application, as the application was incomplete. If this can not be provided, I will be disputing this inaccuracy with the credit bureaus and demanding this to be removed from my report. Additionally, XXXX companies are attempting to collect on this inaccurate debt which is illegal. I viewed an apartment and started ( but did not finish ) the application process in XX/XX/2022 with XXXX XXXX in XXXX. My credit was frozen at the time, so when I got a notification that the application was submitted I cancelled my debit card to reverse the funds for the unit that I had not been ready to apply to. I cancelled my application, yet a collection account is showing for {$130.00} for an apartment I never applied to nor lived in. The application was cancelled, not denied. It was not even processed. Once again : Please provide proof of an inquiry to my credit as well as proof of the rejected application, as the application was incomplete. If this can not be provided, I will be disputing this inaccuracy with the credit bureaus and demanding this to be removed from my report. Additionally, XXXX companies are attempting to collect on this inaccurate debt which is illegal.
