I received a debt collection notice in the mail to my previous address in XXXX, Pennsylvania for {$1100.00}. I called the debt collector phone number that was on the paper to figure out where the stat has come from because I had not had any previous notification of the debt. Upon speaking to somebody on the phone, I was told that all correspondence regarding the stat was being sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have never lived on XXXX XXXX XXXX, but have lived on XXXX XXXX XXXX. After this information was found, I sent a letter asking for verification of the debt. The correspondence I received from the debt collector, showed the wrong address on top of the debt, thus indicating that I have never been made aware of this debt until I went to collections, and that they still can not verify that the debt was mine.
