Consumer Narrative

In XXXX someone open a banking account using my email address and other information with well Fargo bank. I didn't know until I got a email saying I have a checking account open and I will receive my bank card. I call the bank I told them I never opened a account with them. I told them my information which some of the information was wrong like my phone number and address. They stated that it would be closed. It's just scary that people can do these things and we the victims who have to go through. Have to do things to protect ourselves when the banks should.
