On XX/XX/23 I received an alert from XXXX ( an identity protection service ), that a company viewed my credit report, resulting in a hard inquiry. The inquiry was from XXXX. I however did not apply for any form of credit so was perplexed and alarmed by this. After doing some research, I found that this happened to a lot of people on the same day. See this thread on XXXX : https : XXXX I have tried to call both Transunion and XXXX, but no one gets back to me ever. I want this inquiry removed as it was unauthorized and thus, unlawful.
