In XX/XX/XXXX, I refinanced my home with Wells Fargo. In XX/XX/XXXX, they sent me a check for {$860.00} stating that a recent review had determined that my loan was in excess of their internal pricing guidelines. I spent the next month making phone calls and even visiting a branch office to try to determine what caused the error. I was finally told to write a letter, which I did on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter stating what I'd already been told several times - " my loan was in excess of their pricing guidelines and their pricing guidelines are proprietary. '' It also stated that the interest rate, XXXX and fees in my closing documents were accurate. Does that mean my loan amount is wrong? Am I paying interest on the wrong amount? I imediately called their customer service and was told my case had been closed. I asked them to open a new case ( # XXXX ) and stated that I wanted an explanation for how the {$860.00} was calculated. To date I have had no reply. Thank you
