On XXXX of XXXX I rented a car in XXXX, NC using my XXXX XXXX credit card that had a premium rental car insurance benefit provide by XXXX XXXX XXXX. While we had the car it was damaged in a parking lot when we were not with the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX I reported the damage and provided my insurance information. Several weeks passed and I received a letter in the mail from XXXX. I opened it to find a cover letter from XXXX XXXX that stated " see enclosed documentation '', however there was no additional documentation just the cover letter. The only contact information was an email, XXXX. I email XXXX XXXX XXXX times over the next several weeks asking XXXX XXXX to let me know what was going on since I had no documentation. Because I had no information whatsoever to indicate that XXXX was trying to get me to pay, I made another reservation ( ID # XXXX ) with XXXX as a '' Gold Member '' member number XXXX The reservation agent did not mention any issues with my account. When I arrived at the XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX I was told they would not rent me a vehicle because I was on the rental suspensions list. This was my first indication that there was an issue with my XXXX account. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX directly and was told to file a claim. XXXX XXXX XXXX made and claim and they received information from XXXX asserting that the total amount due was {$1300.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX made an initial payment of {$660.00} on XX/XX/XXXX for Collision and Comprehensive. They also communicated with XXXX that XXXX had not provided the required documentation to substantiate the Admin Fees, Diminishment of Value, and Loss of Use claims. Since that time XXXX XXXX XXXX has attempted numerous times to get XXXX to submit the paperwork. Instead XXXX turned the file over to First Financial Asset Management ( FFAM ) and they began harassing me with debt collection phone calls. They are attempting to collect the full amount of {$1300.00} despite the previous payment of {$660.00} made by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have explained all of this to FFAM several times and the case manager, XXXX XXXX, is aware of the facts. Nonetheless, FFAM continues to call frequently and often they do not speak, but just disconnect. Every time I try to explain to the telephone agent that XXXX XXXX XXXX is trying to pay the claim, if XXXX would only provide the documentation, the say they they do not have that information. FFAM 's calls are recorded and the recording will provide evidence of their ongoing disregard for the facts. XXXX XXXX XXXX continues to get FFAM or XXXX to provide the required, industry standard documentation to process the claim.
