Despite submitting certified court documents on multiple occasions, both via the website and certified mail, showing my legal name change Equifax has refused to correctly report this. After I filed a complaint with Consumer CFPB they locked me out of my credit report, and refused to allow my mortgage lender to access the report. I have now been refused credit by my bank, refused an apartment rental, and am unable to get a mortgage loan because Equifax is illegally reporting my previous name, as well as incorrectly reporting my credit history ( some of which was updated in my previous CFPB complaint, but not all ). This has been a four month battle and things have gone from bad to worse. They state they can't hear me when I call, and hang up on me, they refuse to change anything via the website dispute center, and even after being sent via certified mail, my certified court documents from an advocacy organization, and through CFPB, they still are not correctly reporting.
