Equifax is reporting inaccurate false information to my credit report and will not provide me the validate information to wham or where they got the information that states this information is correct. I paid off my XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2023, leaving a balance zero owe to the company. I have disputed this balance with Equifax 2 times along with disputing it with CFPB ON XXXX file # XXXX. Both times I provide Equifax copies my credit card statement showing No balance was due and that the account was paid in full. I even contact both Equifax and XXXX XXXX by phone and spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX disputing department that the inaccurate information was being reported wrong on my credit report. I was assured by both Equifax and XXXX XXXX this will be taken care of ASAP. As of XX/XX/2023, I received a updated report from Equifax showing the same balance owed {$470.00} which is inaccurate. This has hindered me from applying for credit cards, loans and affecting my overall credit score which Equifax lowered from a XXXX down to a XXXX.
