We are trying to sale our home after a split. One deal initially fell through because a loan company did not verify employment until 2 days prior to the closing. House went back on the market, XX/XX/XXXX. We had an offer presented by another buyer within a day. We received title documents on XX/XX/XXXX. The closing date summarily after this was moved FIVE times. A week ago, I checked the name of the loan officer for seller out of curiosity. The loan officer is a woman from my now ex-husbands past. The contract closing date passed XX/XX/23. I believe whole heartedly the reason the loan was in such jeopardy was the loan officer 's vindictive, calculating and unethical goal to destroy our opportunity to sale our home. At the point of the contract being presented to her, the loan office should have recused herself citing the fact that there was a conflict of interest with one of the sellers because of past relationship to his family and children. Instead she proceeded KNOWINGLY in a sham of a loan attempt. This has caused unimaginable financial harm, mental and emotional harm and unnecessary stress. I tried to call the owner of the mortgage company today, XX/XX/23 and the owner hung up in my face when trying to recount the circumstance. This loan officer should be sanctioned.
