Procollect actions continually violate the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Procollect continues to report false information on my credit report and fails to provide proof that I owe XXXX XXXX For over a year, Procollect failed to provide information or evidence that I owe XXXXXXXX XXXX I didnt have an active lease with XXXX XXXX, and I dont recognize this company. I have provided valid information and documentation showing that my final bill was paid before moving out due to neglected damages by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. As stated through verbal communication and email for over a year now with staff from Procollect, this account has been settled. Furthermore, the Property Manager and staff said that I didnt have to pay the termination lease fee due to damages to the apartment from XXXX XXXX XXXX. My apartment suffered significant damages from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ), XXXX, which the apartment management failed to fix promptly. We were without running water, and the water pipes burst, causing an unsafe living environment due to mold for my family and small kids. I request that this be removed from my credit file immediately.
