In XXXX of XXXX I paid XXXX XXXX XXXX in order to get a paid in full letter and the collection deleted from my credit report. The collection was deleted but I never received a letter. NOW another collection agency is attempting to collect the same debt for the same closed, and settled account that was paid to XXXX XXXX XXXX!! Ive contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX the last 3 days in order to get a letter showing the account was resolved, and each time they promise I will receive the letter by end of day. I wait all day, and dont receive anything. They refuse to let you speak with a supervisor and have yet to provide any documentation. At this point I feel like ive been scammed out of paying a debt by this company who fails to provide adequate notification to the original debt owner or any documentation to me. XXXX in the process of purchasing a home and now have a collection on my credit report due to a debt ive already paid. If this isnt resolved immediately I fully intend on perusing legal action for the damage this is causing.
